Easter 2019

Once again, it is that time of year when we are given official license to eat more chocolate than is good for us and enjoy an extended weekend off work.

We are closed over the Easter break which means orders received after 3pm Thursday 18th April may not be processed until Tuesday 23rd April when we re-open. Orders received over the Easter break will be dispatched from Tuesday 23rd April in the order they were received.

Please bear in mind that delivery companies and Royal Mail will not operate over the Easter Holiday weekend for collection and deliveries, so please factor in the extra days to your delivery schedule.

It’s been a while but we are finally back and able to blog.


Long story short, we had to take the blog down for maintenance which turned out to be a wee bit longer than we had anticipated as issue after issue kept appearing which prevented us from going live again.

All is now fixed and tested and optimized to the full and with fingers crossed…..

Important Information: Acid Based Drain Cleaners!

On the 1st of July, the Home Office added Sulphuric Acid to The Poison Act 1972 (Explosive Precursors) (Amendment) Regulations 2018.

What this means is products that contain Sulphuric Acid in concentrations of 15% by weight or higher, cannot be sold to the general public unless the buyer holds a valid EPP (Explosives, Precursor and Poisons) licence.
This now means we have to ban sales of certain products to members of the general public unless they hold a valid EPP licence and can provide a copy to us along with all the associated ID and paperwork.
Sales to trade customers and businesses can continue, however, the business name must be verifiable and the delivery of the products can ONLY be made to a registered business / company address.
The products affected by this new regulation are:
Kilrock who manufacture the Rhino Drain Unblocker have produced an acid free version of the Rhino Drain Unblocker which can be found HERE

Granite Gold Is Back In Stock.

We are please to announce that after a long, agonizing, 6 weeks of waiting that we have finally taken delivery of our Granite Gold stock order.

A total journey of over 6000 miles by ship from San Diego in California, through the Panama Canal and across the Atlantic to little old London, then the last 83 miles by Road from the East London Docks to our shelves here in Denton.

Spring Bank Holiday Closure

You have got to love the month of May, just when you thought you could tip toe quietly into June, it throws out another long weekend for us all, much to the annoyance of the MD who is now trying to figure out how to use advanced quantum mechanics and temporal engineering and cram 5 days work into 4.

While he is doing that, we will be closed on Monday the 28th, what this means is orders received after 3pm on Friday 25th will not be processed until Tuesday 29th May when we will resume normal service again and if it is anything like the last bank holiday weekend, we had over 1500 orders requested during the 3 days we were closed, that receded the hair line by a few inches let me tell you.

Please remember that Royal Mail will not be delivering on the Monday 28th May nor will there be any collections that day either, so please factor in the extra day to your delivery schedules.

Easter 2018

It’s that time again, when we all get to enjoy a 4 day weekend and the boss pulls his hair out trying to work out how to make 5 days work fit into 4 days, twice!

Our offices will be closed for the Easter holiday period, this means the following in terms of orders and dispatch times.

Orders for Guaranteed next working day delivery and Guaranteed next working day before 1pm delivery, placed after 3pm Thursday 29th March, will be dispatched Tuesday 3rd April for delivery on Wednesday 4th April.

This also applies for Saturday Delivery and Sunday Delivery orders placed after 3pm Thursday 29th March.

General orders received after 4pm Thursday 29th March, will not be processed until Tuesday 3rd April and dispatched in the order they are received.

Royal Mail will not be delivering items on Friday 30th March and Monday 2nd April as these are the official Easter holidays so please factor in these two extra days into your delivery timetable.

Service Update.

You may have noticed, we seem to be experiencing a touch of bad weather at the moment.

Unfortunately this has had an impact on delivering your orders to you.

Both Royal Mail and our usual courier UK Mail are reporting significant difficulties in getting around the majority of the country.

We will continue to dispatch orders as normal and provided we can get them collected, they will go out for delivery as normal. We just ask a little patience if they don’t get to you on time.
