Oh the joys of being the Web Administrator and IT goto person. Generally, my days are planned out in advance and I and everyone else knows what is on the table for today, …generally. However a few days ago, one of our major trading partners decided to throw a spanner in the works, well I say spanner, the entire tool chest came with it and has completely derailed my carefully laid out schedule (I had colours and everything!!)
It appears that our trading partner who shall remain nameless but rhymes with Bidet, decided to change their policy on what information must now be displayed on a product listing and retroactively applied the new rules and then decided to tell us about it. What that now means is that I have until the end of the month to correct over 2600 product listings.
Looks like i’m going to be pulling some serious overtime, what this also means is that my sole focus is on this for a few days, so blogs will have to take a back seat, but don’t worry, I plan to get back on track next week.
